Thanks for building and maintaining it! Any chance of adding a new alignment button? I would like the ability to “stack” wall tags directly on top of each other. It’s essentially a double alignment, center – center. Thanks for using it!

I rather keep the number of buttons to a minimum, even if some features are missing, to keep the overall user experience simple and intuitive. Why don’t you click on “Align Center” and “Align Middle” successively? The app should keep your selection between the two clicks.

I would love it even more if it could be added to the quick access toolbar. An older version had this I believe but Revit isn’t allowing it. Overall I’m very happy with the tool and the results! I agree with this – sometime you want to move the majority of the tags TOWARDS the detail, and sometimes you want to move the majority AWAY from the detail – this could be placed in a separate “settings menu” that you only access to change defaults such as align to first selected, align to leftmost, align to rightmost, align to last selected I believe this would add a considerable amount of functionality, and I would use this addin constantly instead of just sporadically as i do now.

I am sorry to hear that your keyboards shortcuts are not working. Can you send me a screenshot of your issue? Thanks for your help! I am running out of options : Did you try to just type “Align” in the search bar of the Shortcut panel, without filtering by the Add-Ins tabs? You can also try to unistall and reinstall the Align plugin. Looking at the picture you provided it shows the keyboard commands under the add-ins tab.

Thank you for the free handy little plugin but I have to ask why the need for a leader for the addin to work? There are many times when I have a large amount of tags on a sheet and use zero leaders, I would still like tags aligned. This plugin should work just the same with or without the leaders. I highly recommend his plugin for navisworks clash detection filter. Very useful add-on for annotating. Wish you could leave the commands expanded on your second screen so you don’t have to click the drop down to change alignment. I really enjoy tagging several items and then being able to align left or right. The one thing I think that could make this even better is if the addin worked with “text boxes” also. Many times, we use text and tags together and if we could use one tool to align them, that would be amazing.

Even if there were two tools, Text alignment and Tag Alignment, it would be very helpful. Good job though! Keep up the good work! The Maxx is a very abstract character that changes form quite a bit from image to image, but this my culmination of the character existing in the Outback of Pangaea.

I wanted this image to fall somewhere between surreal and realistic much like the character and comic do, so hopefully it achieves this. I started this project a long long time ago and have worked on it on and off. Ihave no idea how long I ever actually spent on it but probably way too long. It took me down some rabbit holes between not having a strong enough computer to complete the sculpt at one point, obsessing over color detail from all angles thinking about maybe a 3D print or animated poster which lead to wanting to attempt a real hair sim which ended up being a deep deep rabbit hole, but I settled on a sculpt with a little paint over in the final image here.

I decided I finally wanted to wrap up this project so I spent a week wrapping it up and putting together renders for this composite. The models were started in Maya and finished in Zbrush. Final renders we created in Maya Mental Ray and composites in Photoshop. The only minor airbrushing is applied to the hair and feathers, and a couple small composite mask bleeds around the rock. I used the Multi Map Exporter plugin for ZBrush to export a cavity and displacement map as a base for the textures.
